Mushroom masks use the natural form of tree parasitic fungi with minimal modification. Only the openings of the mouth and eyes as well as the nose are the work of the sculptor. They are rarely worn by dancers but more generally hanged inside the house where they will acquire a beautiful black patina of soot. Often the softer part of the interior formed by the spores of the mushroom falls and thus reveals a different color without patina. This one shows a double mouth which can be interpreted. more information on request. H 30 cm , wide 35 cm , depth 18 cm.
