I think is amazing how most of the book readers of wot (mainly on twitter) talk shit about the tv show that is so ????? Like, I understand some of the criticism and it’s totally valid but you also have to remember:

1. They only have eight episodes to tell the story and with a pretty big cast of characters, they’re doing a great job with the tools they have.
2. Wot doesn’t have a big budget, not for a fantasy tv show at least. The first two seasons together costed less than the first season of Rings of Power.
3. What is the point of an adaptation is if going to be the exact same as the source material? TV and books are very different mediums, some things just don’t translate from one another, besides, the books were written in the 90’s and 00’s, some things need to be updated and like I said before: The Wheel of Time tv and The Wheel of Time books are different entities and they’re both good in the own ways. The show can make the narratives better if you’re open minded to it or bring a new perpective to them. Of course they shouldn’t change major plot points unless it’s completely necessary, which, correct if I’m wrong, it’s not a problem here.

I see so much gratuitous hate towards wot and it genuinely annoys me, how some people are uncapable to enjoy new text or understand new text.
