So I was just re-reading TGR (as one does) and while we see the Jean getting a peach from Cody scene in his POV, I realized later in a Jeremy POV that Jean is holding an apricot. I now headcanon that Cody is going to bring something new for Jean at every opportunity just so they can watch Jean cradle it lovingly in his hands, Nora is trying to kill me. (Or all of us. Probably all of us).

Okay but what if Cody is constantly bringing Jean new fruits to try as like, a very gentle version of exposure therapy 🥺 like they know Jean struggles with food and trying unfamiliar foods and so they start bringing him fruits that they've never seen him eat before but are common enough that he probably knows what it is and Jean slowly starts to acclimate to having a broader variety in his diet and even starts to crave it and starts to enjoy trying all the new things, and then Cody starts bringing him more exotic produce like dragonfruit or pomegranate and Jean doesnt even question it anymore bc Cody hasnt led him astray yet.
