When dick first started as Nightwing and Jason was robin dick decided to play a very minor prank on Jason something just big enough to bug Jason but small enough Jason wouldn’t go to Bruce so dick stuck a my little pony sticker on Jason’s cape Jason not one to take anything laying down stuck it on dicks Escrima sticks dick then snuck it on to Jason’s shoulder plate this prank started a years long game no where was safe
They would stick the my little pony sticker on each other at dinner family movie nights galas even patrol Bruce let it happen cause it got dick and Jason to hang out with each other even if it started as a prank they started to get genuinely close….and then Jason died with a my little pony sticker on his boot
Years later when Jason was alive dick and Jason were no longer as close as they once were every conversation turned into an argument which ended with hurt feelings and in some cases bullets
Nightwing was patrolling when he was caught off guard by killer croc and was nearly killed before he passed out he saw a glimps of red and heard a loud bang Jason despite all of their issues had saved him
he ended up in the infirmary no Jason in sight but on his arm over a bandage laid a my little pony sticker it didnt fix everything immediately but it was a start

Everyone thinks Dick is a rule follower cause of the way he speaks, but his actions prove otherwise. Like I feel like he always says “that plan is insane we can’t do it” and then just turns around and does it himself but convinces himself it’s all good cause out loud he said it.
