On this rewatch, I am counting deaths for Sam Dean and Cas

First one up we have dean electrocuting a monster in water causing a heart attack so severe Sam took him to a faith healer

I’m not sure if this one counts because he never actually dies. He was supposed to and saw a reaper but you know that’s the episode

Up next we have season 1 episode 14, Sam has a vision Dean gets shot by Max. I’m counting this because we see him get shot, still not technically dead dead though

Season 1 episode 22:

Azazel tried, but daddy dearest stopped him long enough for Sam to grab the colt. Then a truck slams into them on the way to the hospital just in case. The episode ends with it looking like all three Winchester boys are dead.

Of course, we know they make it to the hospital season 2 episode 1, but that wraps up season 1.

Season 1 final count: 3 times Dean would’ve been dead if he wasn’t the Main Character TM.

Season 2 has been quiet, but of course all hell breaks loose when Jake skewers Sam leaving Dean to make an impossible choice. It’s the First Actual Death of the series, where it’s time to burn or bury— of course neither play out

Dean total: 3

Sam: 1

My favorite thing about destiel is that castiel’s love confession was maybe the least gay thing that has happened between them

“There’ll be peace when you are done” my fucking ass. There’s no peace and I’m not even sure it’s done.

we really didn't deserve The Good Place. a bizarrely high-budget sitcom telling a longform, highly conceptual story that you need to have been watching from episode one, which was allowed to play out at its own pace and wrap things up when it intended to, and it didn't even lose steam over its four seasons. that's practically proof of the existence of a loving god

Imagine already thinking you're the thing that gets everything you love killed and then your best friend confesses his romantic feelings for you and the act of saying "I love you" to you specifically is what gets him killed? Yeah I'd be sobbing in the corner too I'd never get back up actually

I might be the only one sitting on this rock but

Dean Winchester as a cheerleader, but he's not cool or sexy about it. He's just really fucking aggressive. Like he doesn't do the flips or the dancing or any typical cheerleader stuff

He holds a megaphone, paints his face, knows every player's name, and occasionally wears the mascot uniform and cheers his heart out because that's his baby brother on the field! That guy? The tall dude with the floppy hair? That's his baby brother right there, and you're gonna watch him win goddamn it

He gets the crowd riled up. He throws candy at them. He gets them to cheer, scream, and boost morale for the team

And one day, resident weirdo Castiel gets signed up for the cheer team by his brother Gabriel to cheer on his other brother Michael

And I just need him to be so uncomfortably intimidated by how intense Dean is about this job. Cas doesn't get it. He doesn't understand the point of it and tells Dean that Dean's constant yelling is getting on his nerves

And that pisses Dean off so then he makes it his personal mission to prove that what he does makes a difference...

by cheering Castiel on in everything he does in the most aggressive way possible

Enemies to lovers, but they both genuinely hate each other in the most low-stakes situation possible

there is no "i love you in every universe" for destiel because there really was just one.
