OMG THIS IS HILARIOUS 😭😭
A day before Epic posted about their new vibe coded launcher with *faster speeds than Steam*, Valve improved Steam's startup performance making it now way faster.
After testing it, it fully opens for me after 5s, so Epic's claim is WRONG.
I have a suggestion. Change your start up location to Library. You prob don't need to load the shop page as the first thing every time you open Steam.
It will also likely make it 5s from 7s :D
