its been an issues for a long time and no one is doing anything to fix it apparently. there is a third party download you can BUY to fix it but that's ridiculous to have to do.

I know some games that have no sound if the settings of your audio device are not 44100 Hz

Right click on your sound icon on your task bar right side , choose "sound" , select your actual audio device and do as in this screenshot :

Restart your computer and maybe you will have sound then
