Mostly because of the three dozen Very Sharp And Pointy pins holding all their parts together.
I’ll be doing a giveaway for this plushie after it’s finished, over on Flightrising. The pattern to make your own plush undead monstrosity will also be available in a few days! The instructions/walkthrough will be in the art forum on FR, taking over the thread where you could watch my progress on drafting the pattern and sewing it.
hey prof! I'm an investigator just starting new work down in Sinnoh. I have a Goodra already but I'm wondering if you had any ideas for trustworthy pokemon that would be good with my work (investigating, stealth, etc). Would appreciate any help! Thanks!
What an interesting line of work! For sure Luxray are known to be excellent partners to anyone tracking, infiltrating or doing detective work, their abilities to practically see through obstacles means they can often see enemies before they see you, giving you an upper hand. I find a magnemite is handy, or any of its evolutions, purely for the reasons of getting into buildings, their bodies can unlock modern security systems with a little practice, and trained right they’re capable of getting through dead bots, or other heavy metal framework. They levitate and at low levels can get in smaller spaces, making them great at infiltration to help you access doors and locked areas should there be a vent or high window. Any clever levitating or flying pokemon could do this job just as well.
Infiltration is also easier for ghost types, a lot of groups forget to secure locations from these spectral pokemon, leaving them vulnerable to those who can float and phase between solid matter, ie. walls safes, windows and doors.
Some folks are known to keep Sneasle as partners for stealthy work, they’re notoriously capable of not only slinking into dark corners to be unseen, but are excellent pickpockets, and adept climbers, making buildings pretty easy to enter without being detected. This can be said for some bug types too such as Spinarak or even a little weedle.
Folks seem to forget that pokemon are very capable and easily trained even if they’re smaller or unevolved, so finding a partner or two who are interested in the work and in you are a trainer may be the focus point at the start.
one thing i would keep n mind, getting INTO trouble may seem easy, but getting out of trouble is very important. I know i keep a pokemon on me that knows the move Teleport, to get me and my team away from immediate danger should we become cornered. Abra is the go to for most, but natu and others also can learn the move, not to mention those who can learn it through a TM, which opens up a lot of options.
Everyone got a different team for their preferences, lifestyle and needs in their field. Be open minded and shop around in the profession too, those who you may work with or know within the industry may have good suggestions!
I know for a fact i’d be lost without an offence, defence, tactician, and escape artist when handling infiltration and stealth, balance your tea well and take time finding the right fit!
