To me Cyn wanted to save/free dronekind with her powers (kill all humans. Classic robot stuff) but then she realized too late that the solver was like. Preying on her desire for revenge to turn her into a killer and she tried to turn back but it was too late.

Other interpretations are valid but at the same time if you (general 'you', not op specifically) don't believe in Doomed Hero Cyn I'm going to bonk you on the head with an inflatable hammer.

She's not an uwu innocent little girl victim, Cyn is an autistic coded woman trying her best to help others in the face of Cosmic Horror and being semi-metaphorically consumed by the intoxicating power of vengeance.
