A couple weeks ago I was practicing my owl calls on a night hike and I successfully called in a barred owl. My owl call is pretty good, but I've never called an owl to me from afar because I rarely do night hikes and so I don't get much chance to. I had expected to be really excited about this, especially since two of my coworkers are really skilled at owl calls and they don't usually get a response, much less a full conversation, but instead I felt so guilty. I eventually had to start ignoring this poor deceived owl that was following my call through the park. I felt like I catfished him.

I was gonna say "who among us would follow an inhuman voice in the forest yelling HEY, HEY YOU WHAT'S UP?" but then I remembered this website has me pigeonholed as Most Likely To Be Taken By The Fae. So. Yeah fair enough to this owl, I would probably do the same.

'But asexuals are so harmless why would she come after them/us?' I mean apart from the fact trans people, intersex people and people of colour aren't harmful either and oppression isn't because a group deserved it and marginalised people don't need to be morally pure to not be discriminated against, no asexuality isn't harmless in conservatives' eyes. In an ideology where cis heterosexual marriage and sex for reproduction is seen as mandatory you having little to no sexual attraction ruins the whole set up. You can't 'be fruitful and multiply' in the way god intended. You have a nonsexuality that isn't being forced onto you by them. You're not repressing your desire in the name of god because you barely have any. You have control over your own body and you aren't supposed to do that. You're spitting in the face of conservative sexual and gender roles just by existing. Spit harder!

The likes on this are just my nightmare blunt rotation, I'm hot, y'all ugly, end of story

The funniest part is how poorly thought out this argument is, culture vultures and 'transracials' are attempting to steal the pure look and aesthetic of other ethnicities because they see people of color as objects and styles to use as their own, and they do this while ignoring the fact that the people being stolen from have heritage and cultures coming from a long lineage that could never be replicated by an impostor. If you are a human being alive in the year 2025, you likely are very closely related to at least one woman and at least one man, if you are a culture vulture, you are likely not coming from a long history that already heavily includes the culture you're taking from, on the other hand, transgender men and women are incredibly likely to come from a long line of BOTH cis men and cis women, which means they are going to learn history and culture from women and men in their family. Also just to point out how brain numbingly stupid this argument is, black men are very often highly targeted by the judicial system, this is a frankly moronic hypothetical because if you were allowed to do this and the court treated you the same as the average black man, you would likely be heavily targeted and given a worse sentence than if they did not act like you were a black man in records. Do not confuse culture vultures with trans people, transgender people gain nothing but comfort in their own skin from being trans, yet we are constantly under scrutiny for being honest and comfortable. If given a choice, nobody would choose to be trans, because if being trans was simply a choice, we would choose a life where we do not need to fight for our right to be human.

If uppercase letters are capital letters then what the FUCK are lowercase letters

Literally lower case, fortunately!

BUT WHAT WERE THEY CALLED TO DISTINGUISH THEM FROM CAPITALS PRIOR TO THE CASE

ooh ok I know this one, the technical terms for upper and lower case letters are majuscule and minuscule, which goes all the way back to when they were essentially two different latin alphabets that were not combined together in written text in the way we do now. there's actually no specific opposite term to capital that applies to minuscule letters.

however... since capital comes from the latin caput meaning head because capitals are used at the head of a sentence or page, if we wanted to have an opposite term for lower case letters we could take it from the latin word for body, corpus. therefore, something like "corpusal letters" maybe?
