  • 150 years of innovation, celebrated the Swedish way, with fika! ☕ In June, we were thrilled to take part in the Women in Tech Summit - an inspiring event empowering the next generation of female tech talent to find their place in the industry. This year, Ericsson is proudly celebrating 150 years of innovation, and what better place to mark this milestone than at an event dedicated to shaping the future of technology? Our stand was a tribute to this incredible journey - honoring where we came from and looking ahead to what's next. True to our Swedish roots, we embraced the occasion the only way we know how - with a proper fika moment. Visitors stopped by to enjoy a cup of coffee, complete with our anniversary logo, because some traditions are worth keeping no matter how much the world changes around us. The energy at the summit was truly inspiring, and it was a privilege to be part of a space that champions diversity and innovation in tech - two things that have always been at the heart of what we do at Ericsson. 150 years in, and we're just getting started. Here's to the next chapter - built together, with the brightest minds in the room! ✨ #Ericsson

  • What does it really take to innovate at scale in the AI era? At the World Economic Forum (“Summer Davos”) in Dalian, China, this question was front and center as global leaders gathered to explore how innovation can translate into real economic growth and productivity. In his latest article for WEF, Chafic Nassif, Head of Ericsson North East Asia, highlights a critical reality: ➡️ The future of AI is no longer just digital, it’s physical. ➡️ And scaling it will depend on how we connect distributed intelligence across the real economy. From autonomous systems in transport and logistics to AI-powered industrial automation, the next wave of innovation requires more than advanced algorithms, it requires infrastructure. And a new architecture is emerging: • Distributed intelligence across devices, edge and cloud • Real-time, resilient connectivity across environments • An intelligent fabric that allows AI systems to collaborate securely at scale This shift is visible in regions across the world, including Northeast Asia, where demographic pressures are accelerating the need for productivity through automation. The takeaway is clear: 👉 Economic competitiveness in the AI era will depend on infrastructure readiness and the ability to translate intelligence into real-world outcomes at scale. • We often talk about connectivity as something that supports operations. In some environments, that framing is already outdated. At Newmont Australia's Boddington mine, connectivity is helping enable autonomous haul trucks, support real-time decision-making, and advance the mine's vision for safer, more productive operations. It's part of a broader shift happening across industries. As operations become more automated and more data-driven, connectivity becomes more than infrastructure; it becomes part of the operational system itself. Watch the full conversation with Newmont Boddington and Fierce Network TV to hear how one of the world's leading mining operations is using technology to help shape its future. https://lnkd.in/eWHjw8tD

  • The path to AI-native networks is a stepwise evolution. 👉 Our CTO, Erik Ekudden, has written a blog about AI-native network evolution from 5G Standalone to AI-powered 5G and then to AI-native 6G. 💡 AI applications are creating traffic patterns that are more uplink-heavy and latency-sensitive. As best-effort connectivity becomes a bottleneck, networks must evolve from transport layers into an active, intelligent fabric. The blog highlights four moves to drive operator growth: ▶️ using 5G Standalone as the start ▶️ introducing trustworthy autonomy across network domains ▶️ building a data foundation for AI ▶️ placing AI across the network based on latency and compute needs Networks must become more than fast. They must be adaptive and designed for what AI demands. 🤝 The journey starts now. 🔗 Read the blog here: https://lnkd.in/ebd4FnVk #Ericsson #AI #5GSA #6G #Innovation
