u have NO IDEA how long this took to put together
i didnt want the plot to be a full switch so i tried to adapt it to their pre-existing histories. swap au is basically the worst route for black sheep and the best route for paper star (who still doesnt have an official swap au name bc i SUCK)
most of it is explained in the image below their design concepts, a lot of the timeline plays out the same (ie. paper star meeting ivy & zack on her first caper, paper star and black sheeps first ‘official’ reunion, etc) however since paper star stays a lot more morally grey for a long time her methods are slightly more….. questionable…
in the swap au player also becomes a lot more advanced in his hacking skills as paper star has a tendency to push him past his limits a lot more than carmen ever did (also ivy & zack often wonder if they really should be helping her sometimes, but hey, beats getting scalped by the mob)
feel free to ask questions abt the swap au im actually quite proud of how it turned out, ive been thinking literally only of this for the past few weeks. ive started dreaming about them
