i feel like game piracy is sometimes viewed as this massive disruption to the game industry and not just “a small group of people who weren’t going to buy a game anyways now have it on their computer.” when companies report “losses” due to piracy that’s fake. that’s a fake number because no money was actually ever exchanged and companies cannot possibly know how many people actually pirated their game. piracy does not work like this
Tragic. Tumblr user made a good point but was unnecessarily condescending about it. Will not be reblogging
"you're a monster if you can't reblog." Well rawr girl rawr 🧟♂️
as someone who is both native american and mexican and has a brother who's black and has suffered multiple microaggressions due to my race it's extremely frustrating to see tumblr users act like "all americans are the same, because like yes as a member of the imperial core i definitely has alot of privileges, but at same time it's bizarre for people on here to act like being brown in america is a walk in the park and not like. a tightrope that if you fall of it you die.
i don’t think "gringo” is a slur but i can’t help both notice that online it seems to exclusively used against brown and black americans and noone else, and i dunno that seems very weird to me personally, almost as if everyone seems to view brown and black americans as like. failures for being colonized or whatever
37 people were illegally detained in Bellingham, Washington for the ‘crime’ of speaking Spanish. This is so fucking inhumane and cruel
⬆️ racial unity now is matching funds for the detainees and their families. please help if you can.
it's shameful how long i had to look to find an article covering this story that gives more information besides saying "37 undocumented workers were arrested wednesday." cascadia news and the AP were the only sources i found that include any journalism whatsoever beyond the police report.
