i do think we need to use the term “technospiritualism” more when discussing ai, because while i’ve some loads of discourse around the term “soul” in regards to anti-ai arguments, i haven’t seen enough people talk about how alot of pro-ai people talk about ai like. it’s god????? like it’s some connection to a high spiritual objective truth devoid of human biases, when like it’s still very much affected by human biases just ones that favor like. the elon musks of the world.

my issue with the argument that “disliking ai art is inherently reactionary” is that it acts like pro-ai art people are somehow less reactionary on their views on art, when like the majority of defense’s of ai art as like a higher form art are indistinguishable from the arguments people use to defend the art of like. hitler
i feel like game piracy is sometimes viewed as this massive disruption to the game industry and not just “a small group of people who weren’t going to buy a game anyways now have it on their computer.” when companies report “losses” due to piracy that’s fake. that’s a fake number because no money was actually ever exchanged and companies cannot possibly know how many people actually pirated their game. piracy does not work like this
hate the social media trend i've been seeing lately of "i used to be alt-right but i had to leave once i realized we were the ones acting like triggered snowflakes 😰" like okay so all of this isn't because you realized you were wrong it's just because you were scared you looked cringe
