the thing about being nonbinary is that you really do start to forget that other people have such strict walls around what is and isn’t allowed for genders. i thought we all agreed that we made that up. could you climb out of the cave real quick and feel the sunshine for a minute.

Hey late-20-somethings that are reblogging this from me feeling bad:

Please know that I reblogged this because I'm about 40 and I was laughing hysterically at this because of how much it is not true no matter how much it feels like it.

You're gonna be okay.

imo sharing your art for free online for strangers to see it requires a lot of courage. A lot of mental strength. Im being serious rn i think if youve ever shared anything online and even if its not popular even if only a few people have seen it i think thats very very brave

People with low spoons, someone just recommended this cookbook to me, so I thought I’d pass it on.

I always look at cookbooks for people who have no energy/time to do elaborate meal preparations, and roll my eyes. Like, you want me to stay on my feet for long enough to prepare 15 different ingredients from scratch, and use 5 different pots and pans, when I have chronic fatigue and no dishwasher?

These people seem to get it, though. It’s very simple in places. It’s basically the cookbook for people who think, ‘I’m really bored of those same five low-spoons meals I eat, but I can’t think of anything else to cook that won’t exhaust me’. And it’s free!

SPREAD THE WORD THIS IS FUCKING GOD TIER OH MY GOD, SOMETIMES I HAVE SPOONS SOMETIMES I DON’T BUT NO COOKBOOK OFFERS LEVELS IN THEIR RECIPES THIS ONE DOES!

you don’t gotta tell me to boycott the Nintendo prices by not buying bc i don’t have the money to get them anyways

‘guys don’t spend 600-700 dollars on the new nintendo products to send a message’ im way ahead of you man

ik misogyny is real and all and I live this daily but it'll never cease to amaze me how in pop culture a woman will say smth Slightly off color and it can tank her career immediately (especiallyyyyy women of color & queer women) and then male celebrities are out there with 10k rape allegations and u still get people defending his honor like he sent their kids to private school and bought their mom's house like

*LOUD THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE*

They really don't get that part of what we love about the animated movies is the freedom animation gives the comedic aspects that gets lost or made disturbing in attempts at realistic CGI. What would live action Tangled even look like? How do you pull off the hilarious expressions and attitudes of a realistically cgi'd chameleon?

Would Brutus be as great as he is?

There's limits to how much you can exaggerate the physical comedy, the contortions and exaggerated features that make even minor characters fun

Even Rapunzel in Tangled isn't exactly the most dignified princess, that's why she was so great. Again, you can't help but lose some of the comedy by having her played by a real actress

Botw is such an interesting take on post apocalypse, because it isn't really dystopian. It is a wound healed over, a world that has forgotten the end of itself, and in that, has begun anew. Grandparents whisper their nightmares into the wind, and smile at their kin. The garrisons that remain are sodden ashes in the dirt, a burial ground, and the most fertile soil for miles. You do not know the past that your body remembers. You do not know the voices that linger, and yet you follow. You follow, because the world has forgotten you, and you have nothing that is yours to remember.
