people might think creating OC lore involves a lot of thinking & planning, but in my personal experience, OC development is more like a divine vision from a god slamming you over the head with a mallet while ur doing the fuckin dishes or folding laundry

Robert E. Howard basically said as much about Conan the Barbarian:

Conan simply grew up in my mind a few years ago when I was stopping in a little border town on the lower Rio Grande. I did not create him by any conscious process. He simply stalked full grown out of oblivion and set me at work recording the saga of his adventures.

Graphic of advice & information for protesting MPs Alt text: White background with black text which says Protesting MPs Keep each other safe #WelfareNotWarfare Only directly protest MPs defending the cuts A lot of people visiting their mp are in desperate and traumatic situations refugees needing help with the Home office, disabled people needing help with the DWP, people grieving, struggling with housing etc, we don’t want to make their experience harder. So therefore protesting outside an MP office consider these options; For MPs who have defended the cuts: Community events: See if your MP is attending community events like business events town hall where there will press already and protest there Office protests If you do protest at an office Have flyers ready to tell people why you’re there protesting Be welcoming to people going into the office Don’t bang on the windows and don’t block the door For MPs who have not defended cuts Protest outside a CLP meeting Labour held council meeting or local busy spots to talk to people about dangers to disabled people Celebrate supportive MPs hold an event to thank MPs who are condemning the cuts Show support to those who are standing up to Labour to encourage them to continue and encourage others to join them. Continue to write to, to call and set up meetings with all MPs Tell them to defy the whip, and condem the cuts if they want disabled people’s votesALT
