- #part of it is the price part of it is the history my family has with alcoholism part of it is my personal history with reliance on it
- #but most of it honestly is that i prefer weed and don't really feel the need to get drunk when i've got perfectly good being stoned at home
- #also i'm more steady on my feet while stoned than i am while drunk and what with the disabilities it's smarter to not
- #mostly i'm just ambivalent because i Did That Already
- #i drank heavily when i was younger and my family's favorite pastime is day drinking
- #and i just don't need to do that anymore
- #weed also doesn't give me a hangover so like double win
- #like it's not for everyone and i'm not going to judge folks who do drink more than i do
- #i'm just also not like going out of my way for an Adult Beveragé
- #i'll drink while i'm out if it's affordable where i'm at (like free for example lol) but i try to keep it to like 3 servings maximum
- #i do rely on it as social lubrication in large groups on occasion
- #but i've been getting a lot better at not using it like that when i do have a drink or two
- #anyway yeah i don't drink often and mostly it's just cause i'm not like really intensely invested in the process rn lol
- #i do kinda wanna take up homebrewing mead but like that's a Future Goal

- #i never purchased a game over $50 because by the time games started getting higher than that i stopped buying them
- #i'd ask for them as gifts for christmas/birthday but never get them for myself
- #and i only spent what i did on the games that i did because i was buying them for my mom for *her* christmas/birthday presents
- #but also like i'm not a big gamer so i don't tend to invest in them frequently
- #i bought dragon age inquisition for myself at one point - for the computer before i had a copy for myself after i moved out of my Ex's hous
- #i realized that there wasn't a macOS version very slightly too late
- #i'll eventually have Not A Mac at some point so i'm not like upset about it
- #but i also got it on sale so i'm really not that upset at all
- #that one might have been more than $50 that's my bad
- #i usually forget i did that because it's a back of my mind sort of thought so it doesn't generally factor into my calculations
- #i don't tend to go for DLC very often
- #but again when i got a playable version of inquisition it was as a gift and it came with the DLC already attached
- #because i'm economical as shit about my games even if other people are getting them for me
- #i just am not a big gamer really lol and i don't have a lot of money so i have to really know i'm going to get my money's worth out of it
