Tested ✅ Proven ✅ Market ready ✅ Congratulations to Techouse AS and partners for successfully proving their groundbreaking technology is ready to reduce emissions from offshore installations by 25% 👏 The test program included 300 starts and 300 stops, simulating a 30-year lifespan to verify that the solution is ready to withstand the toughest offshore conditions 🌊 💨 And while testing, we have generated and delivered almost 1 GWh back to the local energy grid. That is enough to cover 50-60 households´ annual need for electricity 🎯 A huge thanks to Alltec for the invaluable help and expertise in building the test site and performing the tests at Eldøyane on Stord 🙏 Techouse is world-leading in combined-cycle technology that uses exhaust gas from offshore installations to generate pressurized steam. Can we turn more green innovations into on-shelf products? 🤔 Europe doesn´t lack ideas, nor research and innovation projects. We don´t have an innovation gap. We have a validation gap 👀 This was Matthias Kock´s main message, as he took center stage at the annual Aarhus Power-To-X Symposium 🎤 Our very own project developer and funding expert delivered keynote speeches in two sessions, focusing on the transition from lab to reality and accelerating green innovation 🫡 – To accelerate green innovation, we need to focus on three things: solve real problems, learn quickly in real environments, and understand the capital journey ahead. This will increase new technology´s chances of reaching the market, said Kock 🎯 The event unites the industry and academia for two full days in Denmark. Whilst the industry needs to reduce its CO₂ emissions, technology developers struggle to access real industrial flue gases for testing & validation. We want to fix that 🎯 Together with Proventia and Herøya Industripark AS, we will map industrial emitters in Norway and identify opportunities for technology developers to access industrial flue gas streams and dedicated test areas for piloting and validating next-generation carbon capture solutions 🤝 This will accelerate the development, validation, and scaling of new carbon capture technologies. New solutions demand new knowledge. We just got funded to develop new educational programs for sustainable energy systems 🎯 We need more energy and new solutions to get through a much-needed transition. But as new technologies and solutions emerge and new energy carriers are adopted, the need for new competencies comes to the surface 👩🎓 👨🎓 Together with Høgskulen på Vestlandet (HVL) and industry partners, we will develop and pilot new vocational programs in which students can work on real-world cases within energy flexibility, new energy carriers, and energy efficiency 🤝 We aim to bridge the coming knowledge gap, boost innovation, and secure green growth for the West Coast of Norway 👌 Thank you for funding this important work, Vestland fylkeskommune 🙏

Allowing future fuel technologies and zero-emission solutions a quicker route to implementation.
