This one is going to be fun. Neat sent me a Board 32 to evaluate. I have seen this device many times, but they only started shipping a few months ago. It’s a versatile device. It can be used as a small room meeting appliance with Zoom, Meet, or Teams. It has a touch screen, so the controller and a whiteboard is built in along with high performance AV. The 32” display is smudge and glare resistant. It can also be used as a desktop monitor, or more typically a second display. A single USB-C connection provides the desktop/laptop a 32” display, webcam, microphone, and speakers. One connection is nice, but the one device is manageable as well. When used this way, it can still operate as an appliance too! There’s a few of these all-in-one video endpoints on the market, and they are replacing the big 30+ button phones as desktop trophies. I have barely used the Neat Board 32 so far, but am very impressed with the design and finish. It arrived in a single box, packaged smartly and environmentally. Everything was in the box, and it was easy to assemble. I will run it through a variety of tests (noisy, bright, and dark conditions with single and group users) on multiple meeting platforms as both a desktop peripheral and as an appliance. This unboxing is a sneak peek of what’s coming.

Just finished setting up my NeatBoard 32. Thanks to Javed Khan and the team at Neat for sending me one. The device was easy to put together and set up quickly, was easy to get online, and Pulse, the cloud-based operating system, absorbs much of the complexity. For businesses looking to avoid having to hire a team of people to deploy devices or paying systems integrators a boatload of money to configure, Neat is a great solution. Priscilla Barolo, OJ Winge
