Each month, the Apple Music Fitness Mix is helmed by one of dance and electronic music’s best DJs to deliver the perfect set for your next workout. This edition was curated by the producer Wuki, who describes it as “pure adrenaline—something that hits like a pre-workout shot to the soul.” Wuki himself is very active (running, shadowboxing, he does it all) and says music is key to his workouts. “Half the time, the music is the workout,” he says. “If the track hits right, you’ll push harder without even noticing.” Among his favourite tracks: “Pump Up the Jam” by Technotronic and Endor, which he says “feels like a reward for making it that far—you’re flying by that point”, and his own remix of Journey’s “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)”. “That one is pure superhero energy,” he says. “When it drops, I swear I could jump over a building and squash my haters on the way down. No better way to end a session.”
