Might it have been either the woman behind @monstrousdesirestudy or the anthropologist mentioned in this article? (I remember participating in their research in late 2019!)

It’s not me and unfortunately there have been a few unofficial studies done on monstrous attraction and queerness so it might be difficult to say who specifically; I was sent a bit ago a link to a study about queerness and monstrous attraction but unfortunately I don’t have permission to access the doc anymore so I can’t confirm who is the author of the study stats :( but they could be the same person as mentioned above? Anybody have recs/answers?

(Also if folks could address me in more gender neutral terms like “the person behind the monster study” that would rock thank you :3)

I recently completed your study, and while I am very pleased to see an expansion to the scholarship on the subject (and to see it treated with a modicum of sensitivity and respect), I did also feel slightly alienated because of my particular position within ‘monsterfucking’ as a community. I prefer to interact with monsterfucking in scenarios where I am the monster, whether because I have been transformed or because that has 'always been’ me, and I found that many of the questions presented seemed to assume (directly or obliquely) that I am the receptive or submissive partner to a monstrous companion. Is this simply a question of scope, and an intentional part of the study at hand, or was this an oversight?

It’s a question of scope for sure; I recently was redoing my breeding kink monsterfucking survey I launched about a month ago and was taking into consideration those who imagine themselves in the position of the monster and those who imagine themselves as the human while redoing questions and it doubled the size of the survey 😵‍💫. Our current survey is already pushing the limits of length unfortunately :( however this perspective is definitely one that is not ignored in our studies as many in the qualitative portion write about their desire to be the monster and explain that appeal! A further study however, would be fascinating to see just how many in the community prefer to take the role of the monster in the dynamic (or like both!) 🤔
