Halo Studio Shutdown Affects Hundreds of Talented Team Members

This title was summarized by AI from the post below.

It was difficult to wake up to the news that the Halo Studio is essentially being shut down today, with only a small number of roles remaining. Hundreds of incredibly talented team members are being impacted with creatives, designers, engineers, producers, artists, narrative and audio specialists, data insights, Ops, community leaders and franchise teams who poured their passion into Halo, gaming, and engaging and serving players and fans. My thoughts are with every Halo team member and with the broader Xbox teams affected. For teams looking to hire, you will not find a more dedicated, capable, or community-driven group of people. Their talent and heart run deep. And dang, forgot a callout for my personal favorite of esports, sorry, Tashi.

The safest franchise on the planet backed by one of the biggest corporations in the world. Still mismanaged into a sinking ship. Show some accountability.

This falls on you, majority of the studio's lifetime you were at the head

Changes have been coming for Halo for a while now. So especially sad because so many of these people were the ones fighting for the halo community in rooms they could not be in. I just hope that Halo does not lose its heart and soul. 💚

There are those who said this day would never come. What have they to say now?

I worked with Bonnie and found her to be an outstanding leader and more importantly a value driven and principled person. I don’t use LinkedIn much but I am truly saddened to see the hate and trolling on this comments thread. Poor play by some of the commentators here IMO at a difficult time for good people going through devastating news.

Glad to see the woke right gamergaters in the comments reminding us why everybody, even fellow gamers, hates gamers.

They had multiple chances to get the franchise on track. Unfortunately they never did.

Kinda partially your fault so this rings pretty hollow if you ask me.

You're literally the biggest factor for this failure.
