puritanism absolutely sucks and it's an all time high right now and sex especially in the west is already viewed as a "taboo" if it's not with two married able-bodied cishet people. so the idea of it being a desire disabled people want(a heavily dehumanized minority) is absolutely seen as something weird to them. same can be said for those who are sex repulsed and disabled, seen as "broken".
