which also means these 5 aren’t my only favorites or even my top favorites, just some on my mind right now that i really love
3 of the ones i’ve been listening to recently are The Outsider by Marina and the Diamonds, Lemon Boy by cavetown, and Fighter by Jack Stauber. they’re good songs that i vibe with on an emotional level and are also just good to listen to
but i definitely need to make a separate exception for 2 songs that are very important to me for very personal reasons, those being
夜のいきもの by bookstores, and
sailing by aimer
these two songs are important enough to me to warrant setting aside two places for them specifically. they kind of transcend favorites
but yeah, i would definitely recommend all these artists and these songs. i just love music tbh

i'd also like to personally apologize for my perceived silence on this issue, especially since it affects me personally as a transgender man.
i couldn't reblog posts about the matter for some reason? tumblr quite literally did not let me, i got an error message every time 😭
regardless, this apology was long overdue, and while it outlines concrete changes to be made going forward i'm more about seeing action than mindless pandering. this is the second time within 6 months that TNT has had a "slip up" regarding users being horribly bigoted towards minority groups on the site, and if they're going to continue begging for our money then they need to be committed to protecting us from these bigots.
