Heres the finished Cane! Ill post some pics of my kickass Cosplay later- in the meantime marvel at the cane- marrrveeelll itttt. So much fun to make- and even more fun to twirl in an aristocratic manner. Had to practice my pimp roll though.

Still around promise!
Okay, so this is what i’ve been doing for the past week or so.
I’ve got a crew who love Harry Potter, and every premier we dress up. Yes, Im one of THOSE people. But damn it’s fun! Being blonde i usually go as Luna, but this is my LAST chance, so i thought i’d mix it up and go all out.
Lucius Malfoys’ gonna be awesome man. I’ve got some wicked pointed toe boots, and an awesome cloak-esq vest thing, so i’ve still gotta figure out the rest of my costume but its getting there.
But in the mean time, i’ve been making Lucius’s Snake cane. Its been hellsfun so far.
I started with egg shaped styrofoam balls, which i hacked into and stuck onto a piece of dowl. I covered the rough shape in a stocking sock and coated the whole thing in bondcrete a few times. Added some cut up and bondcrete soaked bandage to help secure the head to the staff. Then I started going to town with some air hardening clay. More bondcrete layers and a base coat of black and im almost done! All i’ve gotta do is paint it silver and stick on all all the little shiny emerald bits i have.
So much for the post a day thing, but fingers crossed, might happen again.
