I’ve been trying to get in touch with Katie Mitroff to ask if they’re okay with cosplay being done of their art (Specifically Stevonnie Utena.) Do you know a good way to get in contact when Email and Twitter have failed? Do you mind if people cosplay your art?
Not really an inappropriate question, I just can’t exactly speak for how Katie feels about it. From a legal stand point, she’s neither the creator of Revolutionary Girl Utena nor Steven Universe so I think, while it’s very polite of you to ask, you’re in the clear. It’s always good to give a shout out for credit though.
For me (and again, I can only speak for myself) I would be delighted that some one would put in the time and effort to do such a thing. AND I would be curious to know how it turned out- pics please!
