I really like how the women in Cinderella's Castle are important to the plot while the men are just kinda. there. Ella is the protagonist and really well written in terms of her grief and struggles, the main antagonists are also women and allowed to be gross and weird and sexual, Lucy and Justine are killed for Ella, the main GIRL'S development, plot development not a guys, Lucy makes sexual comments and is allowed to be little weird, both her and more so Justine are shown to care a LOT about Ella before her death. The Fairy Queen tells Ella to do away with the 'i only want the world to be a better place' thing and ENCOURAGES her to take revenge. Meanwhile the Prince is just kind of a creep (and even HE really likes Rancilda's sexual riddle), Crumb and Sir Hop A Lot are tied to Ella (usually it's a woman tied to a male character, but here it's the other way around), and while Tadius is kind of the most developed man Ella is more important than him. Also, the Step-Mother being implied to screw the Butcher and Jeff's gaurd to get what she wants is only PART of what she does for her plan rather than her being just a 'seduces men to get ahead' thing, the Trolls want Power and for Bogshollows to become a slaughterhouse, the skin suits aren't even a 'wanting beauty' thing! I'm not claiming it's the most feminist peice of media ever but I really love how women focuses it is
