M1911 GTA VI

The M1911 is on its way to GTA VI, but we’re not yet sure what its official name will be. Raul Batista can be seen gripping some variant of the modern 1911 in one of the official screenshots on the official GTA VI website.

Heavy Pistol

The Heavy Pistol in GTA V is modelled after a 1911 variant, so it’s reasonable to assume that it might stay that way in GTA VI. It’s no guarantee, however, and we see some changes. At any rate, the 1911 will be a heavy-calibre pistol that will likely do more damage than a standard pistol, but have less magazine capacity.

Weapon History

The Heavy Pistol was added to GTA V and GTA Online with the Business Update all the way back in 2014. It wasn’t featured before that, and is likely to return in GTA VI.
