The Combat MG is a returning weapon that’s set to appear again in GTA VI. This powerful machine gun looks to be based on the M249 SAW, a military weapon that has become a part of gaming culture in many circles.
Weapon History
The Combat MG was first called the M249 in GTA Vice City Stories, before appearing as the Advanced MG in GTA IV. It made its way to GTA V as the Combat MG, and now we wait to see what it’ll be called in GTA VI.
All we know now is that the M249/MK48-inspired weapon will be making a return, having been spotted in the trailers, being wielded by what appears to be an Ammunation Store owner.
