Kayaking

Kayaking has never featured as a mode of transport or as an activity in any GTA game up until this point. However, there’s an image on the official GTA VI website (pictured to the right) that makes it look like we might get this sport in the newest entry to the GTA mainline series.

The screenshot shows a man kayaking down a river that leads underneath what seems to be a railway bridge. Interestingly, there’s also a nearby flood gauge, which might indicate dynamic weather and maybe even floods coming to Leonida as part of GTA VI.

The man in the image appears to be alone, so it’s not clear whether we’ll be able to race kayaks, use them as a means of transport, or even interact with them at all. It could just be a random NPC we can find in the world, and we might not be able to use the kayak at all.

At this point, everything is speculation until confirmed by Rockstar, and we will update things as we go.
