C. Martin Croker, the voice of Zorak and Moltar (and Dr. Weird and Steve from Aqua Teen Hunger Force), animator, and a key fixture of Cartoon Network/Toonami/Adult Swim/Williams Street, died yesterday.

I spent a good chunk of my childhood taping Space Ghost: Coast to Coast episodes off TV and onto VHS tapes (between episodes of Gargoyles and DBZ) and downloading low-quality .wav files of episodes to make into computer sound effects on Windows 95. I don’t know where I’m going with this other than SGC2C was important to me and C. Martin Croker’s art and voice were also important to me and I’m sad he’s gone.

I just watched Pacific Rim 2 and realized that my fanart blog doesn’t have most of my Pacific Rim fanart on it! So enjoy some art from 2013, my dudes.

oops i got back into pacific rim which means I’m rereading my favorite pacrim fics. If you can’t tell from my gravity falls fanart: I’m into weird AUs.

First is from a series called Frankenstein and the Newt by where the Anteverse attacks again in the form of devastating viruses that try to turn humans into an earth-based kaiju army but mostly just kill you in really gross ways. Newt gets hit with it.

Second is from a fic called Divergent Paths where Newt gets hit with weird kaiju biowaste and duplicates like John Crichton in Farscape and they get real existential over which one is the “real” Newt. And then also dialog from Brooklyn 99.

Fanart for the first and second chapter of @pitviperofdoom‘s Skin Deep/TMA AU fanfic! I’m not allowed to draw much these days because of a repetitive stress injury in my arm, so when I CAN draw you bet your ass it’ll be the most self-indulgent art I can possibly make.

Martin is huge even for a Nemean lion. He’s like a big fluffy liger.
