Meet Mohammed Taysir and his Family:
There’s Mohammad, his wife, Basma, and their two children, Jude (who is four) and Yazan (who is two and a half.)
Before the war, Mohammad was a smartphone programmer; if people had problems with their phones, Mohammad would help fix those problems with software!
He loved his job, and is still very passionate about his work, his family, and his life.
Unfortunately that wonderful life has been stripped from him and his family due to the war on Palestine that began October 7th, 2023.
This is a watercolor I did of Mohammad’s home. This was where he and his wife gathered to eat; where his children played; where the family lived and loved each other.
Their lives have been destroyed.
Right now, Mohammad and his family, like many others, are living in tents and facing another harsh winter. They need money for food, water, medicine, and other necessities, and are trying to make their way to safety to start a new life.
