Getting into perfume makes you question your sanity. You think you won’t become like the people on Fragrantica who have favorite scents for hiking and that you just like to smell nice, but then one day you will think, “Hmm, what perfume should I wear to bed?” And that’s when you know you’ve gone insane. “Which one would be best for the farmer’s market?” I’ve lost my mind.

Congressional Republicans can end this at any time, you know. They can just do that. Stopping the tariffs wouldn’t even take that many of them, not even 10 total.

People keep saying, “How can one man have the power to do all this?????” One man doesn’t. One man is being supported in this by an entire political party, and that political party was elected to the majority in both of our houses of Congress. This isn’t one man.

Newly discovered kickass depression meal: pasta, jarred pesto, silken tofu. Just crumble the tofu and pesto together until they’re evenly distributed, heat through, and add cooked pasta, pasta water, more pesto, and a little lemon or chili flake if you’ve got it.

I keep being surprised at how legit tasty this is. It tastes a lot like the ricotta part of an American lasagna. Someday I’ll probably try using it in place of my usual vegan ricotta. I think you could put it on bread but you could maybe also put it on rice. I also want to eat it without the pasta—it’s just so tasty and satisfying, like a way to eat pesto with a spoon but not gross. Not something I ever realized I wanted but actually a deep-seated need, it turns out.

I also recommend this as the filling for a toasted sandwich! Maybe even a grilled cheese, but then you run the risk of everything getting very soft
