i do not post, answer, or reblog donation requests unless they are for established charities or close friends. donation request asks are deleted and accounts are blocked. because of my very clear message here, all asks requesting donations or posts about donations are reported as spam. real people do not read this kind of message and send asks anyways.
tagging me in donation posts/replies/reblogs except for established charities or close friends will also get you blocked and the post/reply/reblog marked as spam. for the love of god leave me alone.
i fight in the war on traumacore edits on the side of the traumacore edits
you know the ones, the pictures and collages and drawings with like, grieving/disturbing/etc text on them, often vague and often with repetition and such, people like to clown on them and make parodies of them. i know a lot of that isnt done with some explicitly malicious intent and i dont think most think too hard about it but i personally just cant imagine myself deriving joy from mocking genuine vent art made by teenagers, more often than not about some really serious trauma
theres this one rly popular (over 100k notes) post out there that is one such image with someone elses comment added to it recontextualizing it into something goofy, and initially op just kind of laughed along out of politeness but ultimately felt very understandably distressed that this was done to a piece of art they made as a teenager venting specifically about their csa and the chronic dissociation it had been causing them. idk like is it really worth the comedian points?
this poll brought to you by my sheer horror scrolling through the tj maxx subreddit and discovering none of the employees were told theyâre allowed to ask if a dog is a service dog
gives the definition of a service dog and the two questions employees can ask: 1) is the dog a service dog required for a disability? 2) what task(s) does the dog perform?
the most important difference between state and federal service dog law is the ADA does NOT give service dogs in training any protections. however, many states have expanded the public access regulations to service dogs in training as long as they are well behaved. many states also permit service dog trainers to handle service dogs in training, but only if they are properly qualified to train a service dog.
one time this nondescript guy came into my dunkin donuts and ordered a small black coffee with blueberry flavor shot, and for some reason that peculiar order stuck with me so much that when, seven months later, i saw him in the parking lot walking towards the door, i quickly made a small black coffee with blueberry flavor shot. he ordered it and i was already holding it.
i would describe his demeanor that second time as âincredulousâ
What the fuck who drinks that
itâs such a perfectly bonkers order because like, most unusual orders are maximalist and sugary but this one just combines the most basic drink with the most incongruous little add-on. itâs the order of a simple, regular man who has something wrong with him
this post always makes me laugh. this guy has the weirdest drink order and he probably never goes to this dunkinâ if it took seven months for the barista to see him again. so think about a coffee shop you go to so little youâre not even sure if youâve gone there before and you walk in and the barista hands you the drink you were about to order before you even ordered it. he will remember that for the rest of his life
âitâs the order of a simple, regular man who has something wrong with himâ gets me every time.
KITCHENER, ON â Sources report that Brody Richards, 33, desires to bring small humans into the world while apparently unaware that he will also be required to parent them.
âOh yeah, I canât wait to have kids,â says Richards. âTossing a ball around, wrestling for thirty seconds before bed making sure theyâre too amped up to sleep, showing them all MY favourite movies. Why wouldnât someone want kids?â
Asked who is expected to care for said children the other twenty-three hours and forty-five minutes of the day, Richards answered, âThatâs why they have their mom, and her mom, and my mom. You know what they say: it takes a village â of moms.â
Does Richards believe that parenting is strictly womenâs work? âOf course not,â he says defiantly. âSome teachers are dudes.â
Richards appears to be unaware of several other normal adult responsibilities, including the fact that soaking dishes is not the same as washing them, that laundry does not do itself, and that cooking is a basic life skill that doesnât end at scrambled eggs and burritos. His understandings about the realities of parenting, however, remain the most egregious.
âI just think the 15-year-old girl Iâll pay five bucks an hour to make sure my bloodline doesnât end while Iâm out at the bar is more qualified to teach my kids about being a person than I am,â explains Richards, who, to be fair, does suck at being a person. Asked if he believes babysitting is also strictly womenâs work, Richards declared, âOf course not. Iâll definitely babysit my own kids,â as though thatâs a statement to be proud of.
âBesides,â he continues, âif I turn out to be bad at it, I can always just cut my losses and try again when Iâm fifty.â
At press time, Richardsâ girlfriend was preparing for parenthood by parenting her man-child of a partner.

heyyyy internet leftist⌠i canât help but notice that none of your posting involves confessing to crimes on the internet, or revealing details about your on-the-ground activism that could be used to find you in real life? seems suspicious, iâm going to assert that all you ever do is post
straight people are so fascinating even when they arenât actively trying to be homophobic. I had a class a few years ago where one assignment was to summarize some eighth century arabic poetry about going out for drinks with the lads before indulging in some gay sex and like half the class came in and said âIâm sorry idk what was happening in this one, they mention having sex with a servant but they also say the servantâs a man? whereâd the woman come from? Iâm so confused.â and a few days ago in a shakespeare class I made a comment about how cleopatra and octavius caesar are kind of parallel characters in possessively bartering for mark antonyâs attention and one of my classmates responded as though Iâd been talking about octavia and not caesar, despite the fact that I said âcaesarâ and âhimâ multiple times while describing the actions he specifically took. fully incapable of comprehending of anything thatâs even a little bit gay.
imagine a world where everyone who needed a mobility aid got one for free. it was sized properly for them, met all of their needs, had free maintenance + repairs and even came in their favourite colourâŚ
