Description
The second game of the FINAL FANTASY VII remake trilogy.
After escaping from the dystopian city of Midgar, Cloud and his friends set out on a journey across the planet. New adventures await in a vibrant and vast world – sprint across grassy plains on a chocobo and explore expansive environments.
STORY
The lifestream represents the very cycle of life and death, where all life emerges from the planet and returns to its embrace. However, the Shinra Electric Power Company ruthlessly drains the planet of its very essence, the lifestream, and processes it for industry as "mako."
After overcoming countless fierce battles in the mako-powered metropolis of Midgar, ex-SOLDIER Cloud Strife and his companions step out into the wider world. Riding across grassy plains atop chocobos, they embark on an uncertain path, beginning their fated journey across the planet.
At the same time, SOLDIER First Class Zack Fair walks through the wastelands outside of Midgar. Wounded and weary, he drags his battered body forward while supporting his dear friend Cloud, who is delirious from mako poisoning. Beyond the veil of death, an ominous rift tears the heavens above.
Meanwhile, the Wutai interim government leads the Shinra Resistance Committee in a declaration of war.
In a grim procession, mysterious black-robed figures carry the remains of Jenova, the alien entity infamously known as the cataclysm from the stars and the catalyst of our plight.
Sensing the threat to the Planet itself, the fearsome guardians known as Weapons awaken and rise from the lifestream.
Through the machinations of Cloud’s sworn enemy Sephiroth, the strands of destiny intertwine and are reborn again.

The original Final Fantasy 7 picks up a considerable amount of steam once the crew leaves Midgar, and this rings true for the remake as well. New party members, a more intense and emotional plot, and a smooth battle system make Rebirth a must-play for fans of the series and newcomers alike.

An excellent JRPG and while the original is still beloved, this remake preserved its essence and modernized the classic.

Going back and playing this a second time, I'm still blown away by the sheer amount of content and dedication to the original title. Sure, there are some new features, but this is FF7 like we dreamed of it being back in 1997. The voice acting, the music, the world, the characters, it's all unbeatable. Knocking a star off for a few frustrating moments in the title's mini-games, but that's a small complaint. A masterpiece.

The continuation of the remake has me hyped beyond words. Exploring the world outside Midgar feels massive, and the twists they’re adding to the original story have me on edge. It’s shaping up to be something really special for fans. Queen's Blood was a such an amazing card game and my hours just flew by. I can't even express my emotions when I saw Gold Saucer.

Near perfect game, I just wish it LOOKED better. Is it a Unreal engine issue or artistic direction? Who's to say, but graphics aside the gameplay is addicting and my god the best story and writing of any game I've played. Also combat is the closest thing I have to KH ;)

I am more than angry at this isn't available for Xbox my favorite game and I can buy the original remake crisis core I've yet to see them do the digital version for Vincent's shooting game and all the other fall fantasies are on there but nothing BS and they should have turned Advent children into part two for sale since crisis cores more of a prequel
