IDW, the publisher best known for their comics based on licensed properties, and one of the biggest comic publishers outside of Marvel and DC, is in a bit of financial difficulty. Apparently they lost about $2,000,000 in Q1 of this year. In response the new CEO has made 39% of the staff redundant, including their entire marketing department and half their editors. The company's stock price plunged by about half before they were delisted from the NYSE.
