Something different. A VR game giveaway. Today, for you:

Transpose

Transpose will be free at Steam until April 13th at 7pm or until supply runs out. You can get it through the link above or directly via the Steam client. All you need to do is "buy" the game by clicking the "Add to account" button and it will be permanently added to your library. Mind you that this game of course requires a VR headset.
The universe renews, refreshes and repeats, infinitely folding in on itself. I am made of its energy. My past and future selves are always with me. We work together to generate the infinite cycle of creation and destruction. I exist within and without time, I am inevitable, I am eternal. Time and gravity are my tools to manipulate the world. I don't recognize this world, but I know I have been here before.

Transpose is a dreamlike VR puzzle game set in a universe where time and gravity are used as tools to manipulate the world. By creating and working with looped recordings of their actions, players must solve increasingly complex physics puzzles in a mysterious setting where notions of space and time no longer apply.
Have a look if interested and enjoy.

Thanks for the tip! Downloading now. I have have the Samsung Odyssey + Windows Mixed Reality headset and have had some pretty mixed to bad experiences so far, particularly when trying to play Steam games but when it is fun, it is really fun.

BTW: If you have the Epic Games PC game client, they're giving away a Sherlock Holmes game and their own proprietary game, "Close to the Sun". Sort of a walking simulator that is more than a little similar to Bioshock story wise. Lot of silly jump scares so far.

EDIT: Ooops, just saw you posted about these.

Transpose look fantastic! I don't know if I can assign buttons or not. I should be able to use my thumb sticks but instead there is a round sort of D pad on the controllers. The experience is very herky jerky but looks terrific with some fun game mechanics. Thanks again.

Yeh, I knew. Finding and posting giveaways I sort of my thing around here, it's rare I get caught unaware. Appreciate the heads up tho.

Fyi, Epic Games has done a giveaway for one or more free games every week since they opened their store. Clocking in at almost 100 games by now. These giveaways start on thursdays and last until the new giveaway the next thursday. It's mostly indies and/or older games, but free is free, and the games usually range in quality from decent to great i.e. no shovelware.
