so first i have to talk about buck reading eddie's mind when they're on the call for the earthquake in 2x02. he starts telling eddie that the schools are safe and he doesn't need to worry. this is very cute and also adorable

and this was also too sweet for words - buck drove him to pick up christopher after the call ended? maybe i missed a conversation but i didn't know why he did that, was he worried about eddie driving? why are they driving together? i mean i'm confused but i'm not complaining

(i have to include this next one too because it came right after shots of eddie pulling his shirt on again and my stupid ass almost had a heart attack when i saw the word RUT on my screen. omegaverse jumpscare):

then they have to rush to the hospital for abuela, and i guess buck drives him again? why is buck there. did he drive eddie again? does he just not let eddie drive when he's worried? even pepa wants to know. "who is this?" who indeed

eddie's 'i was kinda hoping you would' when asking buck to talk to christopher in s7 and then in this recent episode saying he was waiting for christopher to ask him to come live with him. eddie changing his will after almost dying but only telling buck about it after buck tells him maybe it should've been him. waiting for a sign to tell him which way to turn when shannon thinks she's pregnant again. the decision eddie made to take action and stop waiting for permission from his parents or christopher at the end of this episode. if eddie's arc for the rest of this season involves following this thread of no longer waiting for someone else to say something before he does i'm gonna go so insane
