Reductoniscus tuberculatus isopods have a couple of different common names like “ankylosaurs” but I’m partial to “dwarf gators” because then I won’t get them confused with real ankylosaurs. I have a small batch of these mini sculptures up on my website now!

Banana for scale.

In addition to the usual banana for scale, I took some pictures of one of the sculptures with one of my own dwarf gator isopods! And yes, it’s an adult.
