Whether high above the clouds or on the shop floor in Lippstadt – for Andreas, precision is everything! 🎈⚙️ Because when he’s not floating over the Westphalian countryside in his hot-air balloon, he’s assembling #slewingbearings for wind turbines at @thyssenkrupp rothe erde. In both his job and his hobby, safety is non-negotiable – and that requires an eye for detail and a team you can rely on 100%. Take off with Andreas and watch the video! 👇 **Voice modified with AI**

Showing #appreciation can make a meaningful difference to everyday collaboration. 🤝 In our daily #work, qualities such as #support, #reliability and #attentiveness can easily become part of the routine. Taking a moment to recognise these contributions can help to highlight the value of good collaboration. In this spirit, six thyssenkrupp colleagues share what they personally appreciate about working with their colleagues. After all, alongside processes and structures, collaboration is also shaped by the people who contribute to it every day. It's a good reminder to occasionally show appreciation. 🫶

How do you run the world's largest packaging #steel plant? Use your data. 💡 That’s what our experts at thyssenkrupp #Rasselstein and their partners at Celonis did! They’ve connected several IT systems to bring transparency to their processes. The result? Real-time transparency, reduced storage space, and highly predictable #planning for deliveries. Despite the still challenging market conditions, thyssenkrupp continued to improve its operational performance and implemented key steps in its strategic #realignment. Sales and adjusted EBIT both improved compared to prior-year figures, particularly due to the #performance improvements at Materials Services, Steel Europe and Marine Systems. Miguel López, CEO of thyssenkrupp AG, summed it up as follows: “thyssenkrupp is continuing to grow its operational strength and strategic clarity.” Further information: https://scom.ly/PY4mb9l

Today, our shareholders approved the spin-off of tk accelis – opening a new chapter for the company and marking another important milestone in the transformation of thyssenkrupp. Formerly known as thyssenkrupp Materials Services, tk accelis enters this next phase from a position of strength: with a leading market position, a global network, a well-developed business model and a clear strategy. Its Materials-as-a-Service approach combines material supply and processing with #logistics and digital supply chain solutions, creating a strong foundation designed for profitable growth in higher-margin businesses. As an independent company with direct access to the #capitalmarkets, tk accelis will gain greater entrepreneurial and financial flexibility. This will help enable the company to invest more quickly, pursue market opportunities more decisively and further expand its position in areas such as resilient supply chains, digital services, aerospace, defense, data centers and industrial electrification. Our shareholders will participate directly in this development: 49 percent of tk accelis will be transferred to thyssenkrupp shareholders, while thyssenkrupp AG will remain the majority #shareholder with a 51 percent stake. Today’s decision is also a clear step forward in implementing our #ACES2030 strategy. Following thyssenkrupp nucera and TKMS, the spin-off of tk accelis marks the next milestone on our path toward transforming thyssenkrupp into a financial holding company. Our independently managed businesses will be able to pursue their respective market opportunities with greater focus, flexibility and entrepreneurial responsibility. Looking ahead, we aim to continue advancing the transformation of our entire portfolio with the same determination. At thyssenkrupp Steel, our objective remains to establish a competitive and profitable business capable of operating independently. The #CapitalMarketsDay planned for the end of September will provide investors and analysts with a transparent view of its development and the progress achieved in its realignment. At the same time, we are sharpening the portfolio of thyssenkrupp Automotive and strengthening the efficiency, scalability and future viability of thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies. My sincere thanks go to Ilse Henne and her team for their clear strategic leadership and disciplined execution. Above all, I want to thank the employees of tk accelis: their expertise and commitment have created the strong foundation on which the company can now build. I would also like to thank our shareholders for their trust and support. Today’s decision creates new opportunities for tk accelis, strengthens the thyssenkrupp #portfolio and opens additional value potential.

We know: When it comes to managing industrial logistics, you don't want to rely on gut feeling! That's why our experts at tk accelis developed #toii®! Our very own #IIoT platform bridges the gap between #machinery, #data, and #people. It enables fast, data-driven decisions and transforms shop floor operations for the digital age. And the best part: It makes work safer and more efficient for our teams! 👏
