Across eight Nordex teams, 40 colleagues joined around 1,000 other teams in the 5 km relay challenge, supported by family and friends cheering them on. A special congratulations to the #NordexWhirlwinds, who achieved an outstanding 5th-place finish. The evening concluded with a relaxed picnic, providing the perfect opportunity to celebrate both individual and team achievements. Together, they represent our #2026TalentCohort of future specialists and professionals across a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, IT, logistics, and business administration. Their journey began with our #WelcomeWeek, where they gained their first insights into the world of wind energy, our culture and values. Through team activities and exchanges with former apprentices, they had the opportunity to build connections from day one. What's next? A lot of learning and plenty of opportunities to grow. From Financial Analyst to Corporate Development Manager: A Career Journey at Nordex When I joined Nordex Group in 2020 as a Financial Analyst in Corporate Finance, I was focused on delivering financial insights and supporting key business decisions. Over time, I had the opportunity to expand my responsibilities, work on a wide range of finance and strategic projects, and continuously challenge myself beyond my initial role. Today, I am a Corporate Development Manager in the CFO Office. My role includes preparing for key internal and external engagements, coordinating communication with stakeholders, and driving strategic initiatives, including M&A and financing projects. This journey has taken me from a primarily analytical position into a role centered on strategy, stakeholder management, and project leadership. What has made this growth possible is Nordex's environment that encourages both professional and personal development. Throughout the years, I have been given the opportunity to take on new challenges and gain insight into key business and strategic decisions. What has supported my growth most is the company’s collaborative culture and the openness of management to different perspectives and ideas. 39,293 kilometres, 171 colleagues and one shared goal: sustainable mobility. During this year's #CITYCYCLING (STADTRADELN) campaign, #TeamNordex once again demonstrated what sustainable mobility looks like in action. A total of 171 colleagues from Hamburg, Rostock and, for the first time, Oberhausen cycled 39,293 kilometres, helping to avoid approximately 6.441 kg CO₂ emissions. CITYCYCLING encourages people to choose the bicycle for everyday journeys, promoting healthier lifestyles, reducing emissions and supporting more #SustainableMobility. At the same time, the initiative raises awareness of the importance of safe and well-developed cycling infrastructure in our cities and communities. Press release: Nordex Group achieves double-digit EBITDA margin in Q2/2026, strong order intake growth, and positive free cash flow. Sales reached around EUR 2.2 billion in Q2/2026, 16.3 percent up compared to the previous-year quarter (Q2/2025: EUR 1.9 billion). Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) for the second quarter of 2026 more than doubled to EUR 223.8 million (Q2/2025: EUR 108.2 million) reaching a double-digit EBITDA margin of 10.3 percent (Q2/2025: 5.8 percent). The new facility provides the company with a larger, more flexible and more cost-efficient financing framework for the period from 2026 to 2031.
