-I won’t use a lot of formatting because I have very bad vision so it’s much more comfortable for me and makes it much easier for me to read. I’m sorry if it’s an inconvenience. I really don’t mind if you do though, just know I won’t be able to match your style in that way.
-Feel free to send ask memes or anons! I love receiving memes and if I post an ask me that means i want to be sent some so never worry about bothering me or anything. Memes are welcome even if we haven't interacted yet, they can be a good jumping off point.
-This is a multiship blog. I enjoy shipping and almost always down for a ship. If you think our characters have chemistry dont be afraid to message me about it! It never hurts to bring it up. That being said shipping is based on chemistry for me so I will not ship Felicia with anyone and everyone. I do reserve the right to turn down a ship if I don't feel that there is a connection there.
-I don't think it needs to be mentioned that Felicia is a naturally flirtatious person, so even if she flirts with your character that does not immediately mean that she has any serious interest in them. Felicia is a complex and guarded person, so serious romantic relationships will be hard with her.
-Shipping is not just limited to romantic/sexual relationships. I love platonic relationships just as much and would love to have my girl experience a wide variety of relationships. I'm also open to pre-established relationships as long as they have been discussed beforehand.
-arachnrd is my exclusive Peter Parker/Spider-man, meaning Nox's version is the only one I will follow and interact with. This is meant as no disrespect to the other lovely Spider-men out there, Nox has been my long time writing partner and her portrayal is what I am most comfortable writing with and consider to be canon to my Felicia.
-As said before both mun and muse are of age so it is possible for some NSFW content to appear on this blog.

-I tag general triggers like blood, gore, vomiting, ect. Felicia is a rape survivor and it is likely to be mentioned on this blog, but will always be tagged "rape mention tw" & "sexual assault tw". Felicia Hardy was born and raised in Flushing, Queens. She lived an average upper middle class life, raised by Walter and Lydia Hardy. Loving parents and a happy home, Felicia grew up a healthy and happy child. Her father especially took care to encourage and dote on her. The first suggestion that not all might be right in the Hardy household came when her father didn’t come back from a business trip when she was nine.
Lydia tried to hide the real reason for her fathers departure from their lives from Felicia, but she eventually figured it out on her own: Walter Hardy was living a double life as a world famous thief known as The Cat. He was now locked behind bars, and was going to remain there for the rest of his life. Felicia didn’t resent her father, only missed him, wishing that he could be there with her. In an attempt to maintain a sense of closeness with her father Felicia spent a good part of her childhood researching what she could about her father’s life as The Cat. She read every article, every book, watched every video she could get her hands on.
Despite all of this, Felicia herself seemed set up to live a fairly normal life. She participated in gymnastics, an activity she excelled at. She got good grades, and eventually she started to attend Empire State University, majoring in art history.
During her freshman year Felica became friends with another ESU student. He was funny, cute, and the two began dating. It wasn't long before he started insisting their relationship become physical. She told him no, but he refused to listen. He raped her that night in his dorm room, and Felicia was never the same after. She was so ashamed, she didn’t tell anyone about what happened that night. Who would believe her? Even if they did, did she want to drag the pain out and relive the experience in a prolonged court battle where she’d be torn apart by lawyers? No. So she remained quiet, and suffered in silence. Until a new kind of determination filled her, one burning deep inside her like she had never experienced before. She wasn’t going to get justice through conventional means, she was going to take matters into her own hands. She was going to kill him.
Felicia focused all her time into training her body, finding effective ways to kill with just her hands. She didn’t care what happened to her after, all she wanted was to end this man's life. But fate wouldn’t let her have that. Her rapist was killed in a drunk driving incident, lauded as a senseless tragedy by her peers. Felicia was seething. Months of training, wasted. She was like a loaded gun, ready to fire but with no target in sight. Lost she turned back to the one source of comfort she could find: her father’s legacy.
Not long after that Felicia stole her first diamond. Nothing had ever made her feel more alive than the thrill of a heist. It didn’t take her long to amass a fortune in stolen treasures. Walking in his footsteps, Felicia felt closer to her father than she ever had before. Tragically, bad luck is never far around the corner for Felicia. Walter Hardy was dying, terminal cancer making him not long for this world. Felicia petitioned the prison to allow her father to come home, to spend his final days at home with his family, but she was refused. The Cat was still too dangerous they said, a flight risk even on his death bed.
The Black Cat was born the night Felicia broke her father out of prison. Despite a fight with Spider-Man interrupting her plans, Felicia managed to get Walter back home to Lydia. Her father passed away that night, knowing his daughter had fallen into the exact life he never wanted her to have.
Walter Hardy may have died, but Black Cat was just beginning to live. Putting on a mask, she no longer had to Felicia Hardy, helpless victim, but instead Black Cat. Someone to be respected, in control and larger than life. The longer she spent as Black Cat, the less important Felcia Hardy became to her. Her real life began in the moonlight when she could slip into her costume and run around the rooftops of New York, playing at being a hero with her Spider or reveling in the chase after a well planned heist depending on her mood.
