⚡How do you power 2.4 million homes with renewable energy? The answer is more than solar panels. In the Philippines, one of the world's largest integrated solar and battery energy storage projects is helping reshape the country's energy future. With 3,500 MWp of solar generation and 4,500 MWh of battery storage, the project is designed to enhance energy security while accelerating the transition to cleaner power. Behind this achievement is the critical infrastructure that connects renewable energy to the grid safely and reliably. Hitachi Energy supplied 10 power transformers and 14 earthing transformers, helping make large-scale renewable integration possible. 🔋 Discover how transformer technology is helping turn ambitious clean energy goals into reality. 🔗 Read the full customer success story. 👉 https://lnkd.in/exfWYbWY: #HitachiEnergy #HitachiEnergyTransformers #Transformers #RenewableEnergy #SolarPower #BatteryStorage #EnergyTransition #CleanEnergy

Great momentum . Great innovation. Great conversations. As CIGRE 2026 comes to a close, we'd like to thank everyone who visited the Hitachi Energy booth. This year's event marked the introduction of AxoniQ™, our multi-terminal DC portfolio, to the broader market and provided an excellent opportunity to engage with customers, partners, and industry leaders from around the world. Across every discussion, one message resonated throughout the event: the pace of electrification and grid transformation continue to accelerate, renewable generation expands, and power systems become increasingly interconnected. Meeting this challenge will require innovation, collaboration, and technologies that enable more flexible, resilient and interconnected power systems.. This is where our DC multi-terminal plays a vital role in powering the electricity era. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to share your perspectives, challenges, and ambitions. The discussions don't end with CIGRE. We look forward to building the future of energy together. Extreme weather is changing the conversation around grid resilience, but resilience depends on more than power infrastructure alone. With conditions becoming increasingly unpredictable, communications networks are becoming the backbone of the electricity equation. ⚡ Better visibility, protection, and coordination help operators act when every second matters. The key lies in modernizing without disrupting the operations the grid already depends on. Six days. Thousands of conversations. One clear message. As CIGRE 2026 comes to a close, one thing has become abundantly clear: Electricity is becoming the defining infrastructure of our time. Across our booth, in discussions with utilities, policymakers, industry leaders, partners and customers, the same themes emerged again and again: ⚡ Rising electricity demand ⚡ The growing complexity of power systems ⚡ The need for secure, affordable and sustainable electricity ⚡ The role of grids as the foundation of competitiveness, energy security and growth Whether discussing renewable integration, industrial electrification, AI-driven demand, grid resilience, digitalization or the future of transmission and distribution networks, the conclusion was the same: ⚡ The challenge is no longer only generating energy. ⚡The challenge is delivering electricity where it is needed, when it is needed. Throughout the week, we launched new technologies, shared new insights through our Grids in Transition: Europe report together with Global Transmission Report, and welcomed customers and partners from across the world to our booth. But perhaps the most important takeaway is this: No single company, utility, government or technology can build the future power system alone. Progress depends on collaboration across the entire ecosystem. This is what we call The Next 25. The decisions we make today will shape the electricity system that powers the next generation of progress. Thank you to everyone who visited us, challenged us, inspired us and collaborated with us throughout the week. Together, we're building the grid for the Electricity Era. #HitachiEnergy #CIGRE2026 #TheNext25 #PoweringTheElectricityEra

The conversation around the energy transition often focuses on generation. But the real question is: Can the grid keep pace? The new Grids in Transition: Europe report, launched at #CIGRE2026, highlights how rising electricity demand, renewable integration, digitalization, and energy security priorities are reshaping the requirements for Europe's power infrastructure. Authored by Global Transmission Report with Hitachi Energy as Knowledge Partner, the report outlines four critical enablers for success: coordinated planning, technology deployment, supply chain resilience, and regulatory reform.
