Grantaire has constellations tattooed all over his shoulder blades and arms. Most people think he’s just really into astrology, and he is, to an extent.

One night, in the safe haven of his bed with a blanket draped around him and Enjolras, Grantaire admits that he started with just one constellation: Enj’s star sign, a small tribute to him. 

Every individual star after that has been a tribute to every time he fell in love with Enjolras until he had accumulated all the constellations and then some.

it’s 1am and i’m sorry this isn’t a shitpost. 

i make sense of emotional shit through stories and melodies so i just want to push this out into the world on its own because i put in a lot of emotions into playing it and they are the emotions i feel right now. they’re the last two tracks (minus the credits) from final episode of “All That’s Left of Us”

Finally seeing Les Mis for the first time tonight! Will hopefully be posting some pictures later or tomorrow

Ok i was too scared to take photos of the actual performance, so you have some terrible photos of other stuff. So there’s the booklet things I got, which have the cast list and some information about Les Mis inside, a photo I took outside the theatre of the gorgeous sunset, me standing by one of the signs outside the doors and the cast list of that performance. It was supposed to be Killian Donnelly as JVJ, Tegan Bannister as Eponine and Will Richardson as Enjolras, but their understudies were on. I was a bit disappointed when I found out the understudies were on but they were AMAZING, honestly. Their characters were perfect and their voices were just incredible. It was probably the best show I’ve ever seen, if you’re going to see it soon you have nothing to worry about!

it’s fucking crazy to think about the amount of people who have sung bohemian rhapsody? like it’s such a unifying song, by nature of the fact that so many people know it. it holds so many good memories for me and other people. it’s a song you scream in the car with your friends while you drive around your boring hometown, it’s a song you drunkenly sing with your arm around your best friend, or a song you sing along to with strangers when it’s on in public. it’s bittersweet to think about freddie’s legacy carrying on like that through his masterpiece. freddie carries on because he’s a part of so many people’s good memories and bohemian rhapsody is a huge part of that.

Some of the highlights of that video include:

  • The crowd cheering after the first stanza when they realize what they’re all doing
  • So many people audibly ‘doing the guitar parts’… like ya do
  • The sheer number of voices joining the rediculous falsetto (thanks, Roger)
  • How they all start jumping at the ramp-up “so you think you can stomp me”
  • Hands up, hundreds, thousands deep for the final “ooooo”s and the last line to close the song

just little grantaire things ~

  1. when he stretches his shirt rides up to show his lil tummy and his thick dark happy trail
  2. nothing he owns is free of paint stains - the things he wants to keep nice he keeps at joly and bossuet’s apartment
  3. he smells like coffee and cigarettes and oil paints and cheap cologne sometimes if you get really close you can smell the lavender soap he uses
  4. his favorite scent is lavender because it reminds him of his mother so anything lavender scented he can get his hands on he buys
  5. tons of fake plants around his apartment because he likes how they look and he can’t keep real plants alive (he likes watering Jehan’s plants for them when they’re away)
  6. cats are inexplicably attracted to him. strays wander up to him at every cafe courfeyrac and combeferre have accompanied him to. courfeyrac has started a video compilation.
  7. deeply set, big blue eyes that are slightly downturned and give him a permanently concerned expression (his laughterlines????? A+ good shit)
  8. celebrates hanukkah with musichetta and combeferre every year (grantaire eats gelt all year round because he doesn’t give a fuck and its cheap chocolate)
  9. 20+ plus tattoos that he doesn’t remember getting the majority of but he likes anyway (enjolras also likes them, and makes sure to tell grantaire as often as he can to see him blush)
  10. likes to paint while jehan is in the room writing poetry and he smiles at children on the street and buys homeless people coffee even though he can barely afford one for himself and snorts when he laughs and is literally the softest boy in the world i LOvE
