Some small reminders about Misha:
-he has turned down several long running series roles because he’s at a place where he can be creatively choosy and he didn’t want a long running series unless he felt really strongly about it
-he did a lot of thinking over whether to take the offer to play Harvey Dent on Gotham Knights when Berlanti productions brought that to him. He didn’t audition. He took the offer because it’s an iconic role and was a different take on Harvey Dent. CW used him as a big marketing asset.
-back in 2020 the president of the CW (Pedowitz) talked to Misha about a Cas spinoff and Misha declined
-Misha currently has some projects in the works he wants to write, produce, and/or direct. Possibly act in as well. But he is focused on things where he writes/produces.
-for many years Misha kept his mouth shut about all the hate he was receiving from brosonlies. He didn’t talk to his friends and colleagues about it. He endured it and pushed back indirectly. He’s only talked a few times about the existence of antis and didn’t make a big deal out of it or try to play victim. He admitted those comments can suck but he also doesn’t want to dwell on them. He continues to get hate he doesn’t deserve for being vocal and supportive of a queer ship.
-there was no make-PR campaign about Misha on the boys. He barely mentioned wanting to do it a few times on panels. It was a complete surprise when he was cast as a guest star along with Jared.
-since spn has ended, Misha has starred in and produced an award winning podcast, produced and hosted an emmy-nominated documentary series for PBS, has been a NYT bestselling poet, and starred on the CW series Gotham Knights playing Harvey Dent, an iconic DC character. He also has several projects in the works he wants to write/direct/produce.
-also he went into a warzone to meet with President Zelensky and help Ukraine with demining efforts
-worked with and met with several prominent figures in the Democratic party for Kamala Harris’ 2024 campaign
-arranged for several zooms for spn fans with Democratic leaders during Biden’s 2020 campaign
-has his own one-man show he takes on tour coinciding with spn conventions and it always sells out
Damn when you see it all written out….
Fucking impressive, man.
