Tom Green liked thisTom Green liked thisA couple of weeks ago, I had the honour of joining the Unfiltered Advice for the Next Generation panel alongside Kelly Griffith, Jonathan Hatcher and Tom Green sharing candid, real-world guidance on navigating a career in tech with Salesforce's #LEADANZFY27 cohort. It was a genuinely raw conversation: the mistakes, the pivots, and the hard-won wins that shaped our paths, the things we wish someone had told us earlier. For me, that's developing my leadership brand sooner, building my mentor bench earlier, and hearing more about how imposter syndrome can resurface when returning from maternity leave. I'm grateful to work for a company that keeps investing in its people, keeps pushing for #EqualityForAll, and gives me the chance to pay it forward to the next generation of leaders. Thank you Luanne Sequeira for driving such an incredible program.

After spending my first week with the team in San Francisco, I’m even more energised by the opportunity ahead. Even at the frontier of payments, AI and digital assets, it’s clear that success still starts with a relentless focus on the basics and fundamentals. I’m looking forward to helping ambitious businesses grow, launch new products and contribute to Stripe’s mission of increasing the GDP of the internet. A big thank you to Natasha Vatner for guiding me through the process, and to Susan Greene and Amy Zobec for the trust and opportunity. And, of course, it’s always a pleasure reconnecting with brilliant former colleagues like Sadia Ahmed. An exciting next chapter. Let’s go.

Tom Green liked thisTom Green liked thisLast week we hosted the FY27 LEAD ANZ Leadership Summit, bringing together our FY27 cohort in Sydney for 2.5 days of learning, connection and growth. This is our second year running the program and it's one I am so proud to be a part of. LEAD, which stands for Leading, Empowering, Advancing, Developing, is a program designed to invest in, develop and retain talented women leaders, building the pipeline of future leadership across ANZ. A few things I shared with the cohort this week: Do you have someone in a room who would advocate for you? A sponsor isn't just a mentor. They open doors, speak up on your behalf and fight for you when you're not in the room. Find yours. Sitting still is the worst thing you can do for your career. Approach it with agility. Get out of your comfort zone. Open your mind to what's possible. Be bold. Be brave. Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself. One of the highlights of the summit was an interview with Andrew Stevens of the Champions of Change Coalition. We are so honoured to have Andrew join us for a session on AI, Equity and the Future of Work, which sparked some of the best conversations of the summit. One line that really landed: "The threat of inaction is greater than the threat of action." In a market where not enough risks are being taken on AI innovation, that's a message worth sitting with. Intentional leadership matters and that applies to how we embrace AI just as much as how we develop people. To the FY27 LEAD ANZ cohort: be bold, be brave and ask for what you want. The world needs your leadership. After an unforgettable five years, I’m finishing up at Salesforce. This role has been pivotal in my career, not just because of the opportunities and the growth, but because of the people I’ve met along the way, many of whom I’m lucky enough to now call friends. Being a country girl at heart, I’ve always believed work is about finding good people, doing good work, and building something meaningful. That’s exactly what this chapter has been for me. Along the way, I had the privilege of hiring more than 360 people into the Salesforce Ohana. Knowing I’ve played a small part in so many careers is something I’ll always be grateful for. To everyone who backed me, challenged me, trusted me, and cheered me on, thank you. It’s been a privilege. 🙏 I’m incredibly excited for my next chapter, but first I’m taking a little breather before it’s time to saddle up again! ✨

Powerhouse of Salesforce expertise at our regular Gold Coast user group catchup 💥 We dug into real life deployment of agents — the huge opportunities and the messy realities. (Eg how do you manage active sessions when rolling out upgrades) Security. Bottom line: the “Principle of Least Privilege” is everything. It’s not “if” but “when” . Security is on you — even with third-party apps or partners. When installing App Exchange apps, run your own checks. Partners: Funny how partners often promise the world… only to run into the same constraints as internal teams. Sometimes it’s not the people, it’s the model that’s broken.
