Ahoy! Our Chicago Crew stepped out to celebrate the summer, lakeside! We set sail on Lake Michigan aboard the ‘Chicago Elite’, and enjoyed an afternoon of beautiful skyline views with the people who make Coates an excellent place to work. Recently, two Aussie Crew members, Tom Norris and Nicola Jersek, had the opportunity to take part in Hungry Jack’s 'In Your Boots Day', spending two restaurant shifts working alongside the incredible restaurant staff. The initiative gives suppliers and restaurant support staff a firsthand understanding of the fast-paced restaurant environment, providing valuable insight into the day-to-day experiences of the teams who deliver great customer experience every day. It was a fantastic opportunity to better understand the challenges and opportunities our restaurant partners face and how we can continue to support them where it matters most. In July, the Coates Canada team was proud to support two incredible fundraising events benefiting Ronald McDonald House Toronto: the Ronald McDonald House Toronto Charity Golf Classic and the Ronald McDonald House Walk/Run the following day.   Together, these events raised more than $488,000 to help provide comfort, care, and support for families with seriously ill children. We’re grateful to have spent two memorable days alongside our Crew and our valued McDonald's partners, all united by a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference.   Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and helped make these events such a tremendous success. Football has a unique way of bringing people together, and our Sydney Crew embraced that spirit with a FIFA World Cup celebration. Over a delicious team lunch, everyone proudly wore their favourite national team's jersey, creating a vibrant display of the diverse cultures, backgrounds, and communities that make our workplace stronger. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect beyond our day-to-day work, share stories, and celebrate the global game that unites millions of people around the world. Moments like these remind us that while we may support different nations on the field, we're all part of the same team at work. Whilst the FIFA World Cup might be over, we look forward to continuing to celebrate our diversity and building strong connections across our Global Crew.
