Anna Hurko is the CEO and co-founder of Crocoblock, a passionate WordPress enthusiast, and an avid runner. Her mission is to build open and transparent relationships between the product, partners, and customers. She began her journey as a support operator and has since grown into the CEO of a powerful and successful project.

Birgit Pauli-Haack is the publisher of Gutenberg Times, a site with news around WordPress block editor and beyond. She gives a voice to underrepresented groups in our community through the Gutenberg Changelog podcast.

Birgit has been contributing to the WordPress open-source project since 2014. Since 2021 she contributes now full-time, sponsored by Automattic.

Chiharu lives in Osaka, Japan, and works remotely for a Tokyo-based digital agency that specializes in WordPress.
Since first joining the WordPress community in 2011, she has been continuously involved for more than 14 years. As an organizer of the Kansai WordPress Meetup, Chiharu has long supported the local community by creating a space where participants can connect and learn from one another.
In my daily work, she is employed at an agency that builds websites using WordPress, where she is responsible for developing solutions that address clients’ needs with care and precision. The knowledge she gains in professional practice and the experiences she gains in the community complement each other, deepening my understanding of—and attachment to—WordPress.
She also actively participates in WordCamps both in Japan and abroad. In addition to attending, she has supported many events through her lens as a volunteer photographer for WordCamp Asia and WordCamp Europe. Being involved in these flagship WordCamps has given me a profound sense that WordPress has taken root around the world as a “culture” that continues to connect people.
This year, she served as the Lead Organizer for WordCamp Kansai 2025, working closely with fellow community members to run the event. Through these many years of experience, I have come to realize that the greatest strength of WordPress lies not only in its technology, but in the “people-driven culture” that surrounds it.
She hopes to continue contributing to the WordPress community in ways that she can, passing its spirit of learning and connection on to the next generation.

Chirag Patel is a Senior Project Manager at Multidots with over 15 years of experience delivering enterprise-level WordPress projects. He specializes in managing large-scale and data-heavy WordPress migrations, ensuring smooth transitions with a focus on performance, quality, and business continuity. Chirag has been an active member of the WordPress community—speaking at WordCamp Udaipur, volunteering at WordCamp Udaipur and WordCamp Ahmedabad, and contributing as part of the organizing team for WordCamp Asia. Fellyph Cintra is a Developer Relations Advocate at Automattic, working on the WordPress Playground project to revolutionize the development and user experience. With 18 years of front-end experience, his WordPress journey began in 2008. He has worked with digital agencies and the news portal UOL, where he managed a massive Multisite network for the “blogosfera.”

Passionate about education and community, Fellyph launched São Paulo’s first WordPress course in 2010. An AI enthusiast, he excels at connecting with people and translating ideas to improve the open web. He is an active contributor to the ecosystem, having co-organized events in São Paulo and Dublin and spoken at over 20 WordCamps worldwide.

Fumiki Takahashi is a WordPress developer, publisher, and fiction writer based in Tokyo, Japan.

He has released more than ten WordPress plugins and contributes to the ecosystem through his work as CTO at TAROSKY Inc., a WordPress-focused agency that builds and maintains large-scale websites for media, enterprise, and e-commerce clients.
He was also the lead organizer of WordCamp Tokyo 2016, actively supporting the Japanese WordPress community.

As a developer who loves storytelling, Fumiki founded Hametuha, a digital literary magazine and publishing house powered entirely by WordPress.
Through Hametuha, he explores how open-source technology can empower independent publishing and nurture new voices in Japanese literature. His recent experiments connect WordPress with AI and creative writing, seeking to redefine what it means to “publish” in the digital era.

Beyond code, he is an award-winning fiction author, a father of four, and a DIY enthusiast who built a tiny wooden house in the Japanese countryside.

James Giroux is a Technical Account Manager at WordPress VIP, where he works closely with enterprise-level customers to optimize their WordPress experiences. With over fifteen years of experience in the WordPress ecosystem, James has collaborated with leading brands to drive growth and innovation. He is also a co-founder of Future of Team, a venture dedicated to helping WordPress companies build scalable, people-first cultures. JC Palmes is Principal Technical Manager at WebDevStudios, where she leads engineering on enterprise WordPress builds and the company’s block theme starter framework WDS-BT. She has been part of WordCamp Asia’s leadership team for three years: Global Lead in 2023, Contributor Day Lead in 2024, and Local Lead in 2025. She also organizes WordPress Iloilo meetups in the Philippines.

Jonathan Desrosiers is a WordPress Core committer, mentor, and open source leader. He works as a Principal Software Engineer at Bluehost, where he is sponsored to contribute directly to the WordPress project. His work includes writing and reviewing code, mentoring contributors, and helping guide the platform’s long-term direction.

Luke Carbis is a self-deputised open-source emissary and vigilante plenipotentiary for WordPress proletariat affairs. He works closely with WordPress product companies to fast-track their growth and inspire beautifully written code. He’s been part of the community as a plugin developer, core contributor, release lead, WordCamp organiser, and a member of the plugin review team.

Mahangu is a Data Engineer at Automattic and a WordPress user since 0.70. Free and open source software and the open web are his two hills to die on.

Maitreyie is the Director of Client Delivery at rtCamp, where she has honed her expertise in project delivery over several years. She is a results-oriented leader, excelling in managing resources, processes, quality, and client satisfaction.

Maitreyie is also a committed member of the WordPress community, frequently volunteering and speaking at WordCamps to share her expertise and support the community.

Mathieu Lamiot is the VP of Engineering at group.one (WP Rocket, RankMath, Flowpilot, WP.one, Imagify, and more). Based in Paris, France, he is passionate about leading and developing high performing teams that deliver impactful solutions.

Ryan is a Developer Advocate at Automattic. He focuses on removing barriers to adoption for developers working with Gutenberg and WordPress. He is a seasoned WordPress developer and regular contributor to WordPress and the Gutenberg project. He also streams on Twitch as RyanWelcherCodes were he focuses on custom block development.

Where developers are focused on code, architecture, performance, and engineering, Saif focuses on the big picture of “what are we trying to do” and on the details of the user experience, the feature set, and the way the product will get used.

Stephen Dumba is a high school teacher Information and Communications Technology (ICT), tech entrepreneur, and WordPress community lead based in Uganda.
Since 2007, he has been at the forefront of introducing computers and technology to beginners specializing in areas of basic office software, web design, computer repair, and networking. Outside of teaching, he runs tech related community initiatives where he empowers mainly youth with practical skills that are required for the job market.
Currently, Dumba Stephen is an executive of the ICT Teachers’ Association of Uganda (ITAU) where he serves as the National coordinator, a role that brings him to the forefront of teacher retooling and has seen him in hundreds of classrooms and workshops across the country.
Steve is also an active organizer at community events in Uganda and regularly contributes to translations, meetups and photos in the WordPress ecosystem.
A recipient of the Yoast Care Fund in 2023 for his contributions to the WordPress community, he has been featured in podcasts discussing how WordPress empowers Ugandan educators and youth.
He is known for innovative teaching approaches, such as delivering computer lessons in Luganda (a local language), and for initiatives like training teachers in integrating ICTs in Education.
Stephen is the founder of the Students IT Club of Uganda, a club that brings together students who love and wish to advance their skills in technology beyond what the curriculum currently offers.
