Hollow Knight Phineas and Ferb au because I'm bored
(I feel like someone's already made this but I can't find it so oh well here's my version)
- In this au (for the sake of simplicity and being similar to the show) PK took in both Ghost and Hollow (I guess so one could be a backup Hollow Knight if the other failed? Idk)
- Ghost and Hollow both pretend to be hollow but get up to all sorts of Phineas and Ferb style shenanigans when the king isn't watching
- Much to the dismay of their grumpy teenage sister Hornet, who's always trying to "bust them"
- At first PK was worried about Hornet's accusations, but after several incidents of her claiming the vessels were doing something and he returned to find them on fact doing nothing and being hollow like usual, he doesn't really believe her anymore, only ever following along on the off chance it's true (and of course he never sees anything due to comedically well timed events)
- Could also add in a Jeremy equivalent here as whoever you ship Hornet with if you want (personally I'm a quirrelnet fan so that's what I imagine-- Quirrel's got huge Jeremy energy imo-- but really it could be whoever, although I can't actually imagine Hornet going crazy obsessed over someone the same way Candace does so maybe just disregard this whole point)
- Meanwhile, the Radiance continues her attempts to infect the tri-state area kingdom of hallownest but her plans are always foiled by a small bug (Tiktik/Grimmchild/Weaverling/whatever pet-like creature) wearing a fedora. (There's an opportunity here to slightly change the Perry name to fit with the species, e.g. Terry the Tiktik or Gerry/Gary the Grimmchild)
- Thanks to the Radiance's archnemesis, who is also the mindless pet of Ghost and Hollow when it's not fighting her, the infection spreads much slower than it would without interference (No I'm not sure how this would be achieved it's a crack au what'd you expect)
- I like to imagine the White Lady being similar to the dad in p&f in that she may or may not know about Ghost and Hollow but is chill about it and isn't telling PK for whatever reason
- Whenever Ghost and Hollow are engaging in Wacky Hijinks unsupervised they get visited by a small beetle, Bretta, who always asks Ghost the same question: "Whatcha doin'~?" She's totally supportive of their secret (possibly unaware of it) and always helps out where she can (Note: I'm not sure where Zote would play into this but I think sure he grew up in Hallownest?? so he'd probably show up)
