There are ~2000 billionaires [total worldwide, (1 for every 3,500,000 people)]. In my opinion (from their history of past and present actions and statements) it can only be interpreted that: this group holds the population of this planet in Greatest Contempt.
Everyone knows that life involves some suffering. Just to be alive is to suffer somewhere at some time. A crucial fact (for all of us to discern) is that the Distribution and Intensity of Suffering is seeming not Wildly Heterogeneous But more often visited on the lower classes.
Why is this the case?
While the list of ways to suffer is almost endless, the intensity, duration and nature of the suffering is what gives it it’s unique character of pain.
Is all suffering inevitable?
Yes we know that some suffering is inevitable and unavoidable- like natural disasters as an instance. What is most important{regarding the experience of personal suffering} is to be able to distinguish between life’s unavoidable pain and to able to recognize and alert to that suffering which was"unnecessary” and caused by someone for whom the sole motive was: to increase their OWN Influence and wealth.
Then following issue is most important to the subject of this discussion: The identification of the primary generator {the true cause} of avoidable human suffering. The method used to this end is: to filter for that human suffering that is the result of the deliberate action, inaction, or neglect, by which this elite group (1/350,000) % of the planet’s population that causes the remaining ~7000000000 unnecessary human suffering . This group of materially powerful individials-who initiate other human suffering {only to further their selfish ends} and still doing so with the knowledge of the suffering, but without concern for the negative external human consequences.
The beside the “natural disasters”, the rest of the world’s disasters are, (for the most part) human caused. And the greatest majority of these are triggered by people that have no regard for the lives of the people these initiatives destroy.
Consider: war, political bias, financial greed, engineered unemployment, absence of minimal healthcare, the poisoning & destruction of the environment for profit [of the very few], wage $ workforce manipulation et al… as samples of human-caused suffering.
I believe these ~2000 billionaires and some Leaders in large Corporations: can and do exercise tremendous influence over: economic, political, educational, choice of scientific goals, the courts, generation of legislation that is self- serving, the agriculture, the space exploration, transportation, infrastructure, the health of the ‘natural world’ et and in other words, all of the supporting subsystems of Society and Nature on the planet.
*Consider this:
There are enough natural resources, Existing wealth, manpower and horsepower on this planet to provide a pleasant, nurturing, safe, well educated, well fed, almost disease-free, well clothed, humane human existence in a planet-wide society for all the ~7,000,000,000 human beings now on this planet.
Yet presently, millions are starving & many more are near starvation and illness. The same is true of the state of: the uneducated, jobless, the exploited masses, in the world today and yesterday.
Since these ~2000 [in my opinion] wield such tremendous influence in every subsystem mentioned above, Ask yourself : “Can any of the planet’s remaining population, risk leaving these ~2000[ If were we were to assume they exercised such influence on our lives & on our personal history] ungoverned & unaccountable a minute longer?”
Based on the overwhelming majority of their past actions and public statements I believe that ‘we the the people’ are of no value to them -except as consumers and a source of intelligent labor. For the sake of the planet and its people: It is too damn dangerous to leave any infinitesimally small and immensely powerful, ‘plausible’ group- unchecked, unrestrained while exercising such power.
I believe that at this point- this generation, that without the perspective of ‘action for the common good of all the people on the planet’ we risk losing the majority of the World’s population if staying the present
Ask yourself : “How much of your own personal suffering, loss , and now hollow, broken promises [like hard work influencing success, generational ‘living- standard’ improvement et. al… ] in your life, has been motivated then executed to advance a unique group’s accumulation of wealth- our expense?
And how much personal suffering, disappointment and loss did you have to endure to make billionaires richer? The path, in my opinion, that we’re on is clear. And that is Unless a motive that is not at odds with a focus on: acting for the common good of the people and-therein implied the planet-unnecessary suffering will continue and escalate.
